Whiskey on the Tracks are delighted to join the Railway Preservation Society of Irelands, as we travel back in time and board a steam train for a unique whiskey tasting experience.

Take your seat, sit back, relax and enjoy the sights and sounds as we make our inaugural trip to Drogheda.

Our journey today brings us from Dublin Connolly to Drogheda, departing at 10:50 and arriving into Drogheda at approximately 11:37.

Upon arrival into Drogheda MacBride station, we will board a coach for our transfer to the Boann Distillery. This is a very short journey of approximately ten minutes.

Upon arrival at the Boann Distillery our passengers will enjoy a wonderful lunch, created especially for today, within the distillery. This will be a truly unique experience. With lunch complete we will split in two groups and be led by the wonderful team at Boann Distillery on a tour of their distillery and warehouse complex. With the tour complete we will all come together again for a special tasting of Boann whiskey and who knows, there could be something very special on the mat!

With our fabulous afternoon in the Boann Distillery now drawing to a close, passengers will make their way back to MacBride station by coach in order to board the train for our return journey to Dublin Connolly. We are expected to arrive back in Dublin Connolly for approximately 17:20.
